Australian Thrash Death Metal

About Me

Killrazer embodies what most metal heads want and is sometimes far too lacking in the scene, and that is powerful, strong and well played thrash/death metal with no nods to any trends or false crap. Each member has been in the scene for many years and still play in other very well established bands, with some of the guys venturing overseas with differen't projects/bands. Killrazer was born Feb 2005 by Doug Dalton (Crucifix, Suiciety, Grungeon, Blown (USA), Dark Order), Guitar Vox, Zoran Mrakic (Dark Order, Devine Electric), Bass Vox, and Mick McCartney (Dark Order, Vaticide), drums. After a few months of rehearsals, Mick had to leave for personal and family reasons. Doug and Zok took some time to write some tunes and find other members, these were found in Luke Cook from Mortal Sin on drums and Symon on guitar. Unfortunatly both Luke and Symon had to opt out due to commitments with other bands, but just in the nick of time Andrew Lilley (guitar) and Grahame Goode (drums) offered to help out on a temporary basis. Both Andrew and Grahame are very well known in the scene and their CV is like a who's who of the Australian Metal scene including Infernal Method, Daysend, Neophobia, Atomizer, the list goes on. Our first gig which was on Fri 13th April 2007, which was a pre Slayer tour party had to unfortunatly be cancelled, the gig went ahaead but without us playing due to Grahame being involved in an accident and suffering severe head injuries, but once again in the nick of time, we were ready for the Australian Vader shows in Syd and Melb. Both shows went down well with great responses from everyone, even though we only had 5 rehearsals to get it together. The Sodom tour went well in June with the highlight being Tom Angelripper wearing our shirt for their show in Sydney. As of October 2007 our line up is complete with the welcoming of Jimmy on guitar from Sydney Death Metal band Vaticide. Jimmy recently won the Australian Guitar Magazine Best Guitarist Competition, so we are all well proud, keep an eye out for a demo CD from Jimmy and write up in that magazine in the near future.
