Mazzy Star, Classical (Beethoven is my favorite of all time), A Perfect Circle, Trespasser's William, TOOL, MUSE, Dido, Crossfade, Queen of the Damned Soundtrack, lots of rock stuff, ie- Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Toadies, Black Crowes, Staind, Nickleback, etc, Semisonic, Dandy Warhols, Duncan Sheik, Switchfoot, Snow Patrol, Anna Nalick, Lifehouse, Britney and some HipHop and Rap. I cannot possibly account for all that I listen to, but I mostly prefer rock based music. I'll always listen to something once, despite genre.(A subset of God)
Movies:
Stealing Beauty--Liv Tyler is stunning. That movie reflects my soul in countless ways. Other movies in my collection include: The Notebook, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Interview w/the Vampire, The Nightmare before Christmas, Pirates of the Caribbean, Cruel Intentions, Harry Potter (IV), and many more I don't have the energy to type. Deep, mysterious, supernatural, and raw are all sure to get my attention.
Television:
One Tree Hill is the shit.
Nip/Tuck-- my newest obsession.
The Dog Whisperer is amazing. Cesar Millan for president!!!
Books:
Lots of poetry-- Rumi, Sylvia Plath, Keats, etc. Anything that catches my eye. Spiritual/religion based books. Some of the most enlightened works are courtesy of Neale Donald Walsch. The two I own are Meditations from Conversations with God and Friendship with God . As far as fiction goes, I LOVE Anne Rice, preferrably the Vampire Chronicles. Her newest book Christ the Lord is a work of art. Also, The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Kundera is close to my heart. And who doesn't love Harry Potter? I like to diversify my reading. I'm not really into extensive nonfiction or romance novels, but if it seems interesting I'll at least try it.
Heroes:
God, who as love, is the answer to all things. I will follow nothing else. And of course, Jesus and those like him. Also, my amazing boyfriend Brian. I wouldn't be who I am without him.
