I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I have the oldest, most unflashy MySpace page. What can I say, I'm a simple girl. To me, 7-11 is the hallmark of civilization. I'm just the tiniest little bit accident prone and I dream of one day having a house with a library (although in SoFla I'd be lucky to have a card board box with a hole for a door). Even though I complain about it, I'd rather be busy at work than bored. One day I'd like to live somewhere that has good hiking, and the dogs will go with me. And yeah, I like Renaissance Festivals.

My Interests

intense experiences, rollercoasters, human behavior, being outdoors, coffee, fitness, reading, good single malt Scotch, Edward Gorey, trepanation, laughing so hard I can't breathe, swingsets, alternative medicine, inclement weather, bluelight, beer, nature, animals, smelling books, grammatical perfection, driving fast with my favorite music cranked is my therapy ~*Souls are recycled in the death and resurrection show*~

I'd like to meet:

Those stumbling along the path to enlightenment. Or at least those who are enjoying themselves while searching for it.

Music:

Tool, Depeche Mode, A Perfect Circle, NiN, Alice in Chains, Pantera, RATM, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queens of the Stone Age, Disturbed, Manson, Clutch, Scars of Life, Powerman 5000, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Incubus, Ministry, U2, Cake, Infected Mushroom, Native American flute, PSYCHOSTICK!

Movies:

Harry Potter, Sleepy Hollow, The Princess Bride, Excalibur, Braveheart, Love Actually, Fantasia, Shrek, Monty Python (all), The Crow, Merlin, Lord of the Rings, High Fidelity, Orange County, Pirates of the Caribbean, From Hell, Quills

Television:

I don't watch enough to really have any favorite shows. I just flip until I find something interesting, generally something on the Food Network, History Channel, TLC or the Travel Channel. If it's on, I'll watch: The Real World (lame, I know), Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, How Do I Look, and Sex and the City reruns

Books:

The Fionavar Tapestry Trilogy, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Mists of Avalon, Kushiel's Dart (trilogy), Fahrenheit 451, The Curious Sofa, Prozac Nation, The Highly Selective Dictionary for the Extraordinarily Literate, 1984, Walden, The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, Tao te Ching, Oscar Wilde, Edgar Allan Poe, Jane Austen, Emerson

Heroes:

Maynard James Keenan is god.
