I love music and I love photographing bands! My escape from the daily grind is to take the camera along to a great gig and come back with some kickarse images to play with! Check out my Sunfish Photography profile for some of my pictures, and there's a swag more of them at The Dwarf .
When I'm not doing that I divide my time between studying full-time towards my Master of Arts (specialising in Children's Literature), working casual hours as a public librarian and being a mum. :)

My Interests

Music (mostly listening to other people's but I do play a bit as well), photography (almost all of bands), cats, books, the internet, space travel (the Space Shuttle is endlessly fascinating), chocolate

Music:

I've been a music fan since I was 11, there's too many to mention! I love lots of Aussie bands, and lots of OS ones too come to think of it. Have a squiz through my friend space, many of them have been good enough to add me. :)

Movies:

I like:
* Anything with Ewan McGregor, Joel Edgerton or Orlando Bloom in it. Shallow aren't I? :D
* Things that mess with your mind a bit, e.g. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Memento
* Good old-fashioned escapist fun like Star Wars and the LOTR movies, I love being taken out of my own world for a couple of hours
* Silly comedy e.g Monty Python, Flying High
* The slightly bizarre, e.g. anything made by Tim Burton :)

Television:

Off-beat British comedy (Father Ted, Ab Fab, Black Books, The Mighty Boosh, The Goodies, Red Dwarf, The IT Crowd, etc), any interesting docos, and in the summer the cricket and the tennis. And rage of course. :)

Books:

Will read almost anything! Lord of the Rings is my all-time favourite, but recently I've been reading rock biographies (Motley Crue's "The Dirt" is a corker), Haruki Murakami ("Kafka On The Shore" is amazing) and stuff about NASA's Apollo and STS programs (I'm on a bit of a space kick at the moment).
