Straight out of Africa, Zimbabwe.... my dream to become a singer began at the very beginning .. the tender years of life... I would sit and listen to my dad play his favourite Elvis records. There was always music being played around the house somewhere. Music was an escape into a world of fantasy, beauty and freedom....unlocking all the doors to my imagination, my journey, my identity... This is me...Growing up from the days when music was a hideout...I guess finding a stage, an environment to explore this ability can be somewhat daunting... but ... also very exciting...the adrenaline on this ride is unmatchable to any feeling!...I guess the best part of this quest is the journey... !! Don't really care about the destination! or the arrival.....Im road-tripping baby!! Rock 'n' roll!!
I admire the work of so many bands/artists, Whitney Houston, Rolling Stones, Anita Baker, Hendrix, Mariah Carey, Alecia Keyes, Pink, Annie Lennox, The Cranberries, MJ, No Doubt....the list goes on....I began modelling in my early teens... absolutely loved it, so much fun! the benefits received from my modelling years made an immense impact & a fantastic introduction to the entertainment business...I also did some dancing..that taught me about performance and how to capture ones eye....to captivate without distraction or mercy.....hehe!
But I just love Singing.....it will always be the most burning passion raging within me..no matter what I do...I love to write songs... I love telling a good story...my lyrics are the makeup of fantasy, experience, love & reality....I left Africa over 6 years ago... wanted to explore the world...first stop...London....I love the energy of this town!
I intend on seeing alot more of the world...this way you give yourself a palette for your colours.... a blank canvas to paint your destiny...a real life artwork...
I have enjoyed the ups and downs of life.... I have learnt so many things... and I have and continuously carve out my destiny from every blow, every high....every fall.... I am still painting....and still discovering how to use different colours and brushstrokes... enjoy your life....feel proud of your picture when it's finally time to hang it on the wall....people will walk past and admire your legacy....xx :)
