I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I work for a forensic science consulting business and volunteer with a local rescue squad. I should also start a new position as medical death investigator in the next few months. What little free time I have is spent hanging out with my Poppop, watching a little tv, reading and sleeping. Next month I anticipate starting to table-top role play again, as well.

My main volunteer project is Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society. This year's event was awesome, so far we've raised over $65,500!

If you're interested in getting involved, feel free to contact me. Planning for 2009's event will most likely begin in the fall.

CELEBRATE. REMEMBER. FIGHT BACK.

My Interests

forensic science, medicine, emergency services, volunteering, relay for life, british history, literature, philosophy, psychology, spirituality, religion, faith, astrology, tarot, music, stem cell research, dna, education, politics, relationships, bowling, rollerblading, bartending, buddhism, philly sports teams, life in general...

I'd like to meet:

people from high school or college that I haven't talked to in ages and people interested in Relay for Life.

I'm not interested in chatting or hooking up with complete strangers. So... if you contact me with that intent, don't expect a response.

Music:

I dig just about everything. I'm in love with Pandora radio. Check it out!

Movies:

Gone With the Wind; Reality Bites; Secretary; Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death; Rocky Horror Picture Show; Pirates of the Caribbean; Holiday Inn; The Maltese Falcon; North by Northwest; Carrie; Dude Where's My Car?; Before Sunrise; Before Sunset; Lilo and Stitch; Curious George; When Harry Met Sally; RENT; The Star Wars Saga; just about anything by Mel Brooks, Kevin Smith, or the Monty Python folks... I like movies.

Television:

Right now I'm watching season 1 of Californication, The Tudors, Robin Hood, and whatever else I need to catch up on. Don't have much time for TV right now.

Books:

To Kill a Mockingbird, The Mists of Avalon, The Riftwar Saga, The World of Hetar Series, The Sirens of Titan, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Emma, Lady Chatterley's Lover, The Picture of Dorian Gray, anything by Kathy Reichs... lots of others. If you're really that interested in what else I've read, go ahead and ask me.

Heroes:

good parents, teachers, child services officers, public servants, my mom, and my poppop.

My Blog

Just a thought or two...

I thought I had lost all of the pictures my mom had saved over the years when the tent in the backyard gave way to weather damage... but i managed to salvage a box of them and stash it in the garage. ...
