I am a Christian, meaning that Jesus is the number-one priority in my life and I will do what it takes to follow him (which means it's time to put your Cool Cards in your pockets, folks). My family is very important to me and I am greatly shaped by my relationships with them and my friends. I am the youngest of ten, the aunt of twenty-nine (with an additional niece in-law and nephew in-law), and the great-aunt of five. I am a graduate of Free Will Baptist Bible College. It has been a ridiculously unexpected experience and, aside from popular belief, I far from regret the decision (due to the people I've met and the places they've taken me).
I will forever value my friends from home greatly and plan to keep them dear to my heart while I am growing and making new friends here (wherever "here" may be at the time). My friends have all taken me in as family and constantly surprise me; they are more than you could ever know to ask for.
I treasure my parents. As I grow up I realize more and more how much of an inspirational woman my mom is, while almost daily I recognize more of my dad in myself and I embrace that in so many ways. Lately I have been learning more about not only who I am, but Whose I am, and it's one of the best feelings of fulfillment I have ever had.
Most consider me outgoing and blunt. I consider me Natalie. I love unexpected friendships and appreciate those people who have managed to grow on me like a fungus!
I love to laugh and have a good time as I live a life of worship (yes, we all have our failures and struggles, but it's how we turn them over to Christ, grow from them, and move forth from them that counts). My favorite thing to do is spend time with my people, whether it be loud, lighthearted, and full of laughter, or comfortably quiet.
~~I probably won't judge your character by how you treat your friends or how you act when things are going well, but I will be tempted to see who you are by how you respond to those you don't like and how you behave when life isn't peachy. I will expect you to hold me accountable by doing the same with me.
