God, family, friends, music, acting, soccer, Firefly, 24, photography, butterflies, frogs, and Cheddar Jack Cheezits
Jesus, both of my grandpa's (they died before I was born), Princess Diana, the Dhali Lama, Max Lucado, the Detroit Pistons, Selah, the inventor of Cheddar Jack Cheezits (so I could hug him), the inventor of pantyhose (so I could kick him in the shins), the cast of Friends, foreign ambassadors, someone who survived the Holocaust, and of course...Keifer Sutherland.
I'm pretty eclectic when it comes to my music. I can listen to anything from classical to rock to jazz to country. Oh, but I'm definitely NOT a big fan of rap. And I can listen to music from any era, too. Just to name a few things I like...Jack Johnson, Gavin DeGraw, Selah, Jeremy Camp, Relient K, Brave Saint Saturn, Death Cab for Cutie, Imogen Heap, Coldplay, KT Tunstall, Jason Mraz, The Afters, Switchfoot, Nickel Creek, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan, old skool Jewel, Madeline Peyroux, Incubus, way-back-in-the-day Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, the Shins, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, the Beatles, U2, Newsboys, and Riley Armstrong. Talk about diverse, huh?
Ah, this list could go on forever! All-time favorite: A Knight's Tale. Other than that we got The Italian Job, Ocean's 11, The American President, Now and Then, all three Lord of the Rings, Steel Magnolias, Pretty Woman, The Princess Bride, Fallen, the Bourne Identity and Supremecy, The Bone Collector, Tommy Boy, What About Bob?, Where the Heart Is, Save the Last Dance, Pirates of the Caribbean 1-3, A League of Their Own, Elizabethtown, The Prestige, and an all-time classic: Calamity Jane.
When I was younger, I could never have lived without Full House, Boy Meets World, Touched by an Angel, and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. When it still aired, I never missed an episode of The Practice. Friends, Fraiser, and Seinfeld are classics. My new favorite show that no longer airs is Firefly. Now it's Alias (well, seasons 1-3, anyway), 24, Heroes, most stuff on Discovery Health, and anything on CourtTV like Cold Case Files or Forensic Files or The Case Files of (insert random detective's name here).
The Bible, of course. Moments with the Savior by Ken Gire is a great book. Also, The Applause of Heaven by Max Lucado. When I was younger, The Bridge was my all-time fav, but I can't remember the author, and I haven't been able to find that book since like 6th grade. My newest favorite book/author is The Pilgrim at Tinker Creek by Annie Dillard. I suggest it to anyone.
My mom. I know, could I get any sappier? No, but for real, my mom has always been such an influence in my life, and I'm more than thankful God gave her to me. Oh, but if we're talking superheroes...I'd take the Powerpuff Girls!
