About Me

I am a Saxophone Performance/Music Education major at the University of Montana. Along with saxophone, I play piano, clarinet, bagpipe, guitar, fife, accordian, and am a vocalist as well. Music is pretty much my life right now, and it feels good.Yes, I realize that Montana was a random decision. Scholarships alligned, I guess. It is beautiful here and the people rock my house. I do miss my Corvallis and Portland, though:( As far as my other interests, I really enjoy cultural anthropology. Mainly Native American and Celtic topics. French is another one of my passions, and I am hoping to become comfortable enough with it that I can go to South Africa and work with AIDS orphans. I think that would be the ultimate experience.In the future, I hope to become a professional saxophonist and go on tour with wind ensembles and that cool shit. Or maybe I'll be 1st sax in the Saturday Night Live Band- this is another one of my dreams. If none of this works, I'll be a band teacher or music professor. Those who can't do, teach.
