Born in England on June 12th 1988, James (J HART) A started out his musical life in a small house in Upminster, Essex. At the Age of four, his interest in the arts became apparent, and his love for music stood out like a soar thumb. His childhood in England was soon inturrupted, however, by the family's sudden move to the states in 1998. At this time music became an output for emotional stress surrounding the move and leaving behind the family he loved. After recording a CD at whipporwill studios in Atlanta, GA in 2000, he fell in love with the setting. He returned to the studio two different times before his father made the purchase of a home based studio, the best decision he ever made. After working on production for four years, he was signed to A&R company Talent Unlimited and his talent and confidence grew. After many unsuccessful attempts at getting signed to a label or manager, James stumbled upon producer Travon Potts (Christina Aguilera, Monica, Anastacia, BeBe Winans). His writing has taken a serious turn since learning under the influence of Travon Potts, who wrote gospel tracks for the likes of Trin-i-tee 5:7. After finding Jesus Christ, Jay has added good feel/ gospel music production to his Repertoire. In 2007 James started a working relationship with Mauldin Brand Agency (Michael Mauldin). And at the turn of the new year, great things are finally beginning to surface for James. He says "I owe it all to Jesus. He is the reason I will be successful at what I do. He gave me these gifts to use for his glory, and I will use them to the full extent of my being. I can affect millions through music, and Im so exited to see what God has in store for me!"
