xoxoxoxoxo I guess I needed to update this, because people keep asking me "What do you do?" Let me start with my dream job: I am a Full-time wife & mother of 3 great kids-Taylor being my first born and of course the BRIGHTEST one in the bunch and Jordan (Baby J #10) and Kennedy (Ken Ken)-! 2nd I am a publicist. I have my own agency and I get to work with some of the greatest talents in the world. I only take on clients I believe in and I am currently NOT looking for any new talent. However, there seem to be some other pubs on this space, so give them a chance. Besides publicists LOVE exciting clients/projects. So if you add me as a friend..be careful 'cause I like to brag and promote my folks whenever I can.I love writing, reading, and of course spending quality time with my Babies' Daddy-Shawny-Poo! We have a wonderful life, great family, friends, and a wonderful church home. What more could a girl want?!? Oh yeah, a chance to visit Chicago and sit on Oprah's new set discussing my Pulitzer Prize nomination for literary fiction OR my humanitarian contributions by creating great television programming. Then I can jet back to Cali and continue creating media moments for my clients that become historical...but then I digress... And while you're still reading this check out my client Tommy the Clown:

My Interests

My incredible KIDS (they NEVER stop amazing me), writing, Television (slightly addicted), films, reading, and working out (but only when I feel like it according to my hubby). I enjoy travelling, spa days, and shopping (recovering shopaholic in a 1-step non negotiable program w/hubby known as: STOP $PENDING or ELSE!). I also love having some good CHOICH!Nothing better than feeling good from the inside out!

I'd like to meet:

Professionally: All Media...I love journalists! Okay..truth be told I NEED journalists! Personally: JESUS (He changed my life), Oprah, Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, Maya Angelou, Nikki Giovanni, Diana Ross-I would love to tell her story on the silverscreen, Shonda Rhimes, Don Cheadle (luv da brotha), Terrence Howard (not exactly a groupie-but I scream on the inside when he hits the screen), My CURRENT FAVORITE (not-so)secret crush---Idris Elba, JJ Abrams (boy genius), and Eve-no not the rapper, but the one who was chillin' with Adam in the garden. Just one question--"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO EAT THE FRUIT???"

Music:

I LOVE Gospel, but enjoy anything that speaks DA truth set to a nice beat!

Movies:

All time Favorite....my kids know this one- The Color Purple! (You tole Harpo to beat me...), Imitation of Life, Lady Sings the Blues-Diana DESERVED THE OSCAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, Mahogany, Hotel Rwanda, RAY, Something's Gotta Give, CRASH, The Ususal Suspects, Forrest Gump, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Love and Basketball, The WIZ,Beaches...man this is gonna take awhile. I really love film period from Blaxploitation (there's a lot to be learned) to foreign flix.

Television:

THE WIRE(!!!!!!!!), NEWS, OPRAH, LOST, The 4400, Judge Mathis, GIRLFRIENDS, That's So Raven, Twilight Zone (original w/Rod Serling), Grey's Anatomy, Law & Order (All of 'em), CSI(Las Vegas).

Books:

The Holy Bible, When A Rabbit Became A Lily, The Color Purple, Sula, The Third Life of Grange Copeland, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, All books written by J California Cooper (I LUV her), Mama, A Raisin in the Sun, Drinking Coffee Elsewhere, Song of Solomon, The Known World, The Catcher in the Rye, Sugar. Again these are just a few of my ALL Time favs..but I really love books---more than tv and film! In fact, nothing can compare to a great book, comfy blanket, warm cup of java, and the quiet of a still room.

Heroes:
