You show me a good loser, and I'll show you a REAL loser.

About Me

We admire and try to collect things not so much for their beauty or value as for their association with a phase of our past; and that is understandable, every generation has done the same. But with us Americans the association seems to not be with our politically historical past, but with a private kind of vernacular past—what we cherish are mememtos of a bygone daily existence without a definite date.First there is the golden age, the time of harmonious beginnings. Then ensues a period when the old days are forgotten and the golden age falls into neglect. Finally comes a time when we rediscover and seek to restore the world around us (this building, this place) to something likes it’s former beauty. But there has to be that interval of neglect, there has to be discontinuity; it is religiously and artistically essential. That is what I mean when I refer to the the neccesity for ruins; ruins provide the incentive for restoration, and for a return to origins....The above paragraphs I cannot take credit for, but, they DO kind of explain why/how I photograph what I do. I am slowly starting to photograph models; yes, "real live humans!"LOL, and it has been difficult, not due to the models, who have been amazingly patient, but, due to the fact that they are living and breathing. Take that as it is meant. I always edit my photos on Sunday evenings, to deep ambient "music". I prefer a sub-genre of ambient sound know as "drone". It just puts me in THE most melancholy mood; perfect for editing what I shoot. Paul Avgerinos, "Terra Ambient", Robert Rich, Steve Roach, Liquid Mind, Nverxion, Brian Eno, Robert Fripp...ALL prime examples of the masters of the Ambient Arts.I hope you enjoy my photos.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Blog

Quick photo tip...

This has helped me tremendously through the years. How many of us hold our breath while we take a photo? I was guilty of doing that back in the "old" days, and getting lightly blurred photos from shak...
