About Me

Song oriented progressive metal.Soon to be re-released.Originally on Atco East/West Records(Dream Theater,Pantera,AC/DC). Fronted by the explosive vocals of Michael Thomas Beck, Scary Hairy also includes the distinctive guitar work of Harry Dinnel & Kevin Meer, as well as the pounding rhythms of drummer Steve Aherns & bassist Rob Robinson. The five musicians, all hailing from the Midwest, got together on the suggestion of Shrapnel guitar virtuoso Michael Lee Firkins. Elements of funk & metal, with influences ranging from Black Sabbath to Deep Purple to Zeppelin.The record was recently re-mastered by vocalist (& now producer) Michael Beck at SoundVision Recording Studios in Mesa,AZ for release in the VERY near future.Details will be coming soon!!! ..
