I'm good people, more or less. I've been told I have a dry wit and a pretty decent sense of humor - I'm also a bit on the sarcastic side. I listen to NPR every weekday on the way to work, at work, and on the way home from work. My mantra is pretty much Do Unto Others, and I respect people who respect me - I also fully believe in the corollary to that, if someone treats your poorly, they can pretty much expect that in return - :). I try to be a straight shooter; I try to be honest with people, rather than sugar-coat things. Some see that as a bit too harsh or frank, but I have a low tolerance for BS when unnecessary. I would prefer to be the person that's there when the shit hits the fan rather than the person that pays you gratuitous lip service and faux politeness, but can't be counted on when the going gets tough. I loathe hypocrisy, yet I certainly can be one from time to time (I'm a conundrum wrapped in a riddle surrounded by FUNK!).
Moviewise, I love comedy and I'll usually it over a drama during any trip to the theater. I'm also a movie talker... sorry, but I'ze loves the comments. At The Grudge, I had my movie buddy cringing to my left while the girls to the right were cracking up. I do, however, appreciate a good drama, and I'm down with drama if a friend or date suggests it, but if left to me, we'll probably end up seeing something laugh-enducing.
I enjoy Karaoke, and truly think that more people would enjoy it if they gave it a chance. You're expected to sing poorly... just have fun with it!

Other than my work, a primary driving force in my life is the improv troupe I'm in, Just The Funny: Miami's Home for Improv & Sketch Comedy ( www.justthefunny.com ). I've been with the troupe since a couple of months after its inception, and in addition to performing & Directing, I also serve on the troupe's Board as one of the troupe's leaders. If you haven't seen a show yet, and you're a friend, let me know... I'll see about gettin' you a comp for your first time. It's live, interactive comedy... a blend of Whose Line is it Anyway & Mad TV. If you have seen it, make sure to tell your friends! Our eventual goal is to get our own theater, and to do that, we need to fill the seats!!
