Hmmmm... I'm a pretty simple creature. I get up, go to the gym, eat, go to work, eat, come home, see my man, eat, sleep, repeat.
The gym is a big part of my day. Without it I go a little crazy. I love playing boardgames (The Settles of Catan and Quelf among my favorites). I'm actually a little glad that winter is here now so I can play them more often. I'm a bit of a movie nut. I love to watch all kinds of movies. Even the scary ones for the thrill. :) And now that I just discovered the joys of Netflix it will further feed my addiction.
Hmmmm. Oh! I just started doing yoga recently which has been a lot of fun. I surprised the hell out of the instructor with how limber I was (if she only knew). I even have my own mat now. :)
Once in a while I'll feel the inspiration to bake (see Blog for proof). Look out Martha.
I haven't done much traveling in this life, but I plan on doing a lot more now that life has settled down.
I don't care about how popular you are or how much money you make. If you have a good heart, a good sense of humor and know how to have a good time in any situation then I'd like to meet you.
Beethoven and The Beatles. (my favs)
I like classical and classic rock. The Rolling Stones. Queen. Rob Thomas. Just to name a few...
My favorite movies .... Se7en, 12 Monkeys. On the sappier side... The Color Purple and I Am Sam. I'm always game for watching a flick. I used to go every week, but not anymore. :(
There are now 4 movies that I've seen where I'd like my 2 hours of life force back:
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Lawnmower Man 2
The Avengers
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
I never really watch television. I'm more of a movie nut.
First, The Family Guy. That show is fuckin hilarious! Next, The Shield. My brother sent me both shows on DVD and I can't tell you how many nights I've started watching The Shield when I go to bed and I end up staying up for another 3 hours just to watch the next episode. I'm sick. I need help.
In recent weeks, my friend Checo lent me all of the Deep Space Nine episodes on DVD. I've been completely sucked into that. It's an AWESOME series. I highly recommend it.
Of all the books I've read in the last year or two.... my still standing favorite would have to be Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.
Overall, I really love the Dark Elf series by R.A. Salvatore.
I'm going to bastardize this section because I couldn't really think of an answer.
FOOD:
I love chocolate, Papa John's pizza (with pineapple and pepperoni). Oh! And the Oreo ice cream dessert at TGIFs! Mmmmmm.
I hate peanuts, peanut butter or any derivative thereof. I truly believe it was invented by Satan for my torture on this Earth. I can't stand even talking to someone who's been eating peanuts. Ick. Yuck.
