To whom it may concern, we are currently 6 months deep in to a life-changing year… Further Education has now been completed and Higher Education now awaits those who desperately want to plough profoundly into what we have always known as ‘The Adult World’.
You may know me by an assortment of names such as Collin’s, Captain, Dan or formally Daniel Collings. I am now waiting upon my alumnus status after recently finishing my course at City of Bristol College where I studied Graphic Design at BTEC level. If all goes to plan with the marking scheme then I am destined for London, I shall be a student at London Metropolitan University continuing my graphic studies to Bachelor Degree level. I have booked my accommodation and shall on the 8th of September be a local resident of Whitechapel, not too far away from the buzz of Aldgate’s “Brick Lane†which is exciting stuff.
Currently I have an incredible girlfriend, and for the last 7 months (and counting) we have been in the best relationship I have ever had. I wouldn’t ever be able to describe how I feel for Lizzie and how every single time I see or speak to her I am instantly ecstatic and don the largest grin the world has ever known. This coming September when I move to London, Lizzie will be venturing off to the University of Sussex which is in Brighton to swot Psychology/Sociology, which is great that we are only one train journey away from each other in the south east of our humble country.
I am a zealous person when it comes to many things in my life, I love being innovative when it comes to Graphic Design, keeping an open mind to all sorts of concepts and ways of portraying different views. I have also recently re-captured my passion for local football team Bristol Rovers, watching them triumph over local rivals Bristol City back in February in the Cup suddenly gave the club a boost into getting promoted at Wembley Stadium in London which was a phenomenal experience.

Musically, my taste is eclectic, i enjoy music from many genres and many eras. I sort of treat the music scene like a "Pic 'n' Mix", loving so many different styles of music, and always exploring new genres as my musical preference evolves. I think it's very peculiar that someone can place the likes of All That Remains in the same playlist as UB40.
So life in 6 months time will be incredibly different as I come back to North Somerset for the first Christmas living away from home – in the meantime though we have the summer of ’07 upon us where a trip to Cornwall with Lizzie and a European Roadtrip with my Dad and brother look to certainly entertain me, amongst the glorious weather that our fine and beautiful England possesses...
