.............I LOVE the martial arts. Over the last 13 years, I've been a student of KENPO KARATE, MUAY THAI, FILIPINO MARTIAL ARTS, weapons training (KALI - sticks, knife), JEET KUNE DO and have dabbled in a little Brazilian JIU JITSU and SUBMITION fighting. My dominant dicipline would have to be THAI BOXING. I love Muay Thai because it's very hardcore. I trained harder in Muay Thai than I've ever had to train in the others. I'm talking powerful shin kicks, a lot of brutal strikes like KNEES and ELBOWS. I love it!I also enjoy singing (the rock kind)! In the 80's I was a vocalist and a vocal instructor. I helped students overcome vocal problems, increase their range and their power. I, personally, built my own vocal range wide enough that it reached into my 5th octave. The black and white picture in my gallery is actually from my vocal advertisement.MY CAR that is FOR SALE. It's been for sale for about a year now.... I just haven't told anyone yet!!!
I've met pretty much everyone I've ever wanted to meet (with the exception of Randy Rhoads). But, I've only really wanted to meet musicians so it wasn't too difficult for me. I've met but would love to HANG OUT with Rob Zombie to watch him work but.... I've lost my touch! Back in the DAY, I used to meet EVERYONE without even trying but, now, things like that dont just fall into my lap anymore... I guess I look like a dork now.Below are some pictures of some of my favorite singers I've been fortunate enough to meet.

First, is an EXCELLENT singer that I met years ago, Lorraine Lewis of Femme Fatale. She was such a SEXY and exciting performer and her vocals just reach out and GRAB you. I still listen to the Femme Fatale CD to this day! She does have new stuff out though! Check it out at www.lorrainecafe.com

Next is DORO PESCH formerly of the band, Warlock. I remember being SO excited to see her wearing an ear ring that I gave her on an MTV interview. She's SO sweet. I've had the great fortune of being able to meet up with her and having lengthy discussions with her MANY times over the years. She's a doll.

Next is LITA FORD, unfortunately, I've never gotten any pictures with her but, the first time I met her she DID ask me to come to the next show and left me 4 tickets at the venue! The next tour I met her on, I was sitting on the stage!

The next is one of my ALL TIME favorite singers. She goes by the name 'LEATHER LEONE' and she sang for a band called CHASTAIN. I LOVE her voice and I got to meet up with her several times but we never took pics... width="425" height="350" ..

This is when I was about 18 (and had a bad haircut...bangs a little short!). I met WENDY O. WILLIAMS (formerly of the Plasmatics). It was a great show! I was RIGHT in front of the stage. It was at a bar and after the show, I was hanging out talking to people when this HUGE black guy comes up to me and says, "Wendy would like to meet you" I said, "uhh... WHAT!?" He took me back stage!! We talked for quite a while. I'd been a fan of hers since I was in 8th grade. She was a VERY cool lady, never did drugs, never drank, she always ate healthy. I was very sad when I found out she took her own life. : (

One guy I LOVED meeting who isn't a musician was Chuck Zito. He's a fascinating guy. If you don't know him, he is a TOUGH GUY! He was a bodyguard to the stars and he's the guy who knocked the crap out of Jean-Claude VanDamm when he made a comment to someone that "Chuck has no heart"! I met him one night when we both happened to be at the RAINBOW in LA. This is a picture of us in front of his Corvette.

I've been a fan of Billy Blanks for EVER. I used to watch all the low budget martial art movies he made (and LOVED them!) I was surprised when he came out with the TAE BO. I loved those videos so when I went to LA, I HAD to meet up with him. I went and worked out with him and if you think the VIDEOs are tough, you should work out WITH the guy! It's 10 times at tough!! He's hard core and wont let you slack!! I walked out almost dead!! He knows how to push you. He's SUCH a genuinely caring guy. He's one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He really cares about people. His daughter is a Tae Bo instructor too (and she's pretty cute!!! She's the one in his video's with the short blonde hair and the skin that looks like it's made of SARAN WRAP! She's just as energetic as he is.
I love Hairband music... back when WOMEN were WOMEN and MEN were.... well, they were MEN but they kinda LOOKED like women! Back when guitar players SHREDDED, drummers PLAYED and singers.... SCREAMED!In addition to that, I like anyone who plays their instrument well (voice included). Country, Rock, Metal, whatever. It should be obvious, by now, that I like pretty much anything Rob Zombie does. He just knows how to put together the WHOLE SCENE when it comes to a song! Prince is the same way... masters of their craft. Jessica Simpson has a GREAT voice and sings effortlessly. SHE's so good her SISTER got a career (and she sucks).I used to love to DRAW but... I never seem to have that kind of free time anymore. Here is a pencil drawing I did of Lita Ford when I was around 18.HERE is a video by one of my ALL time favorite bands, SAVATAGE (some of you may recognize the members as TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA). This was back in the good old days with the MASTER: Doc on drums (I watched THIS guy exclusively for two entire shows... and I'm not even a drummer), Johnny Lee Middleton on bass, Criss Oliva (who died in a car accident) and Jon Oliva (one of my vocal heroes)... width="425" height="350" ..
I LOVE to go to the movies. It's an escape for me. My FAVORITES, though, are the 'classics'.... STAYIN' ALIVE, CLUELESS, VACATION (1& 2), ROADHOUSE, JOE DIRT and FREEWAY (Reese Whitherspoon & Keifer Sutherland... if you havent seen it, RENT IT!!) One more I added to the list, recently is ROB ZOMBIE's 'THE DEVILS REJECTS'. I LOVED it!! I liked it better than House of 1000 Corpses (I'm not into the monster thing) but there were some classic scenes in that one too!
I like a lot of the reality shows but NOT Survivor. I like THE APPRENTICE, BLOW OUT, ROCKSTAR: SUPERNOVA... fun stuff like that! Other than that, I like the gay stuff like 'THE OC' and of course, 'NEWLYWEDS'. I dont miss an episode of the GEORGE LOPEZ show, '24' or LOST. I TIVO it all so I can watch it in half the time.
I dont really read novels anymore, but tons and TONS of educational books from stock trading to self help. I cant go into a bookstore without purchasing a few. I normally start 3 (completely non related) books at a time because I'll pick one up and read, then, the next time I want to pick up a book I'm in a different mood so I'll grab another. That's kinda how I live my life, as well! I'm currently reading a book called 'MILLIONAIRE MAKER' that's VERY informative, I'm also reading an INCREDIBLE book about the lack of communication between men and women (this guy SERIOUSLY has hit the nail on the head for any of you out there who are currenly experiencing this problem) called 'LOVE and RESPECT" and I'm also reading a memory book!
Randy Rhoads was the first. musically. Since then... I dont know... Rob Zombie!? That guy has his art down to a SCIENCE (and has a pretty hot wife)! I envy that (the art... not having the hot wife). My artistic hero is DENNIS MUKAI. This man is unbelievable. I now have no less than 10 pieces of his artwork, all limited edition and I could sit and stare at them all day. He says SO MUCH with so few lines. Here are some samples of his work.In addition to them, One guy that's always been my hero is Underdog! He's so humble! I love it. The way he rushes to keep that annoying 'Sweet Polly Purebred' out of harms way is admirable. That Underdog.... what an actor.
