I am 38 year old person born originally in Croatia (so i am Croatian, not Croat, how some call Croatians, although i am living in Northern Ireland at the present moment), a little beautiful Southeast Mediterranean country which used to be for 60 and something years part of artificially made up Yugoslavia in 20th century. Before that dark period, Croatia was for centuries part of Austria and Hungary (the Habsburg Empire and Monarchy), and is one of the oldest Central European countries, and one of the first countries in history (of Europe) which had monarchy. Country of exquisite beauty, full of natural richness, good and healthy organic food and above all, heart warming people. As a part of my upbringing, my mother (Dalmatian) and my grandmother( she is half Austrian, half Hungarian) from fathers side used both to weave stories of old cultures of Croatia, Greece, Rome, Scandinavia and Germania,because all these cultures had deep imprints on Croatia as a country.In my teen years I was a member of few bands in 80es, such as: Drinking Skull (thrash/speed metal), Breu (noise and experimental sounds) and Big White Elephant(funk hardcore). My late friend Sinisa Ocurscak-Charlie from Tehom, a first Croatian dark ambient band, created with myself and one other friend of ours one of first Black Metal circles in Europe. We went onto forming a band, inspired by bands of that time,like: Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, Venom, Mercyful Fate, Possessed and Slayer, but somehow we did not last for long because of school or other commitments in life at that time. That was back in 1986. After studying at the first University, and in time while Croatia was viciously attacked by Serbian paramilitary forces joined with Yugoslav Army, i became a Gaudiya (Chaitanya) Vaishnava (or Hindu to be closest, although those two are different)celibate monk for a full span of 9 years, living in various ashramas and temples from India and Europe to USA. Time spent in all those interesting places and countries was something i will never forget.Nowadays i am still practicing Gaudiya Chaitanya Vaishnavism, but in the original traditionalist way, and how it is supposed to be, and not in the way which is taught in the west in societies like Iskcon or Gaudiya Matha. I was a member, and i am still a member of some Heathen Volk movements as well as some societies and orders. I respect people from all walks of life, and i try always to learn from them. I am married with an Irish lady (with some Scottish blood) who has red hair and very Celtic and Germanic origins, and we have one child. I am not planning on having more children in this turbulent and insecure world.That is for optimists, and i am certainly not one of them.At the moment i am working as a language translator/interpreter for 4 languages (German, French, Italian,Croatian) in one of the biggest extreme Sports companies in the world. I have BA in journalism and political sciences, also finished counselling, but i am not working in none of those professions at the moment. My wife is an interior designer.In a meantime i am surfing on the Irish coast,walking in the forests and woods of Northern and Southern Ireland with my son and wife.Last but not least, my wife and myself are running a small mailorder and label for extreme music. We are still at the beginning, so hopefully one day we will be able to offer really interesting works of diverse arists.
