In the beginning there were three. Three were known as "Lucid Lucy". As the sands of time fell three then became four and four became three again. No one is exactly certain as to how three then became five, but we're almost definitly sure it had something to do with the Y2K bug. Moving closer to a Skacore/Reggae sound the offbeat heroes decided it was time for change, time to make a true name for themselves and make their mark on the Scottish music scene. From that day on "Lucid Lucy" was no more but from her poor lifeless ashes arose the unstoppable, pugilistic "Almighty Me". The band would return home, triumphant conquerors of many sold out shows at venues such as The Cathouse, The Garage and King Tuts Wah Wah Hut - to name but a few, never once allowing our success to stand in the way of a good nights rest in preparation for the next mountain to climb. There was, however, a void in our hearts, something was MISSING. Almighty Me (after much study from our resident scientist) discovered how to fill this void one day when Almighty Me became six as the courageous frontman decided to concentrate on his vocal powers and handed down his mighty bass playing skills to a young Englishman, keen to harness its magic. The six then became five again with the departure of a brass member, lost in battle, but still we fought on, stronger than ever. Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls of all ages, we present to you...Gary, Daryl, Gian, Neo and Owen: The Original Offbeat Heroes.
