Syd Four was started in July 2007.
Originally it was a recording project started by a local musician writing and recording his own music.
From July 2007 various songs have been recorded, re-recorded, re-arranged, deleted and re-written.
Throughout 2008 this project was put on the back burner for various reasons but so far 2009 is looking a lot more clear. The RPM Challenge has been a great incentive for this project to get up and running again.
Five of the old demos have been re-recorded and another five new songs have been written. At this moment in time the music for all 10 songs has been recorded. Lyrics are being written and vocals tracks are in full swing.
Hopefully all 10 tracks should be complete by the end of March and available. The idea that the project should progress into a band is also a possibility in the near future.
