On the first day of December in 2002 Matt O'Brien, aka The Fallen; and Rob Godette, aka Liquid Shit, formed Psychotic Assault with Spanky Payne and Josh "Carnage" Pike. The line-up shifted some time later to become The Fallen, Liquid Shit and Frumunda Cheezze. The idea for this band came one day back in September of 2001 when The Fallen and Liquid Shit said, "Fuck all the half-fast, shit bands in VT. We need to start a real kick ass Death Metal band." At the time, we had no name but that night we wrote the first Psychotic Assault song, 'Into Dust.' Then, the next day the shit hit the fan and I think we wrote 'Only One Way To Die' and 'Lifeless.'
