I can be spontaneous and casual in familiar circumstances. The familiar atmosphere allows spontaneity when I'm in my comfort zone. I can be motivated through teamwork. I like to know I am a valued team member. Patience, control and deliberateness characterize my usual behavior. I need time for some study and analysis, particularly when doing new or challenging assignments. This allows me to adjust to the changing environment. At times, I would like to slow the world down and cut out some of the activities people want me involved in. I'm eager to please others. I want others to be satisfied and I may go out of my way to accomodate others, sometimes even to my own discomfort. I prefer to help and support others rather than compete against them. I don't resist change as much as I resist being changed. I need to be an active participant in situations that will impact my work. I can be open, patient and tolerant of differences. My natural quality of being nonjudgmental is a great strength. Because I am receptive and listens well, I excel in gathering information. Outwardly, I may appear to be totally accepting of others. I may, however, have deep convictions that are not apparent to others.I am persistent and persevering in my approach to achieving goals. I find making decisions easier when I know that others I respect are doing the same thing; I then have a feeling of stability and "family." I try to use balanced judgment. I am the person who brings stability to the entire team. I prefer to plan my work and work my plan. Others may find it refreshing to have me on their team. I may want to think over major decisions before acting. I must be convinced that actions will produce the desired result. I may tend to fight for my beliefs or those things I feel passionate about. Making plans and following those plans is important to me.I don't enjoy confrontation for confrontation's sake. I feel I can win through patience and resolve. I like to know what is expected of me in a working relationship and have the duties and responsibilities of others who will be involved explained. Communication is accomplished best by well-defined avenues. I am not easily triggered or explosive, but I may conceal some grievances because I don't always state my feelings. I like a friendly, open style of communication. I will be open with those I trust; however, reaching the required trust level may take time. I'm usually considerate, compassionate and accepting of others; however, on some occasions can become stubborn. Stubbornness surfaces when my ideals and beliefs are confronted. I am quick to pick up on group dynamics and skilled in fitting in with a group. I bring both speaking and listening skills to the group.
