Dani’s achievements of 2008 so far…
• Started driving to university in her own car like a big girl
• Taken on an optional reading list of advertising related geek material
• Put uni work before everything else apart from daily BBC3 televisual viewing
• Found a job & become Goole’s most glamorous bar-maid**
• Left the job but still remains Goole's most glamorous bar-maid**
• Found an even better job in a toy shop & therefore never needs to grow up. Ever
• Quit drinking Coke for an entire fortnight
• Got a motherlickin’ social life...
• ...And lost it again
• Discovered that any & all legs look good in pencil skirts... Even mine
• Realised that not all my squish bits are hideous
• Bagged a blokey who has also realised that not all squishy bits are hideous
• Resisted quoting Two Pints quite so much
• Paid off her House of Fraiser & Argos store cards once & for all
• Come to terms with the death of Jonny Keogh, RIP
• Learnt to enjoy own company
• Found the ability to control her Harry Hill induced tears of laughter
• Joined a Fat Club & got thinner***
• Ran/walked/completed 5k Race For Life for Cancer Research UK & raised £125

I’m still the same stripeylicious, Primani clad li’l lady (who makes up her own words!) as I always have been & always will be, only these days I wear polka dots & ring-watches, & have a better knowledge of what’s important in life, i.e. family, friends, future, imagination, experience, ambition, glamour, funky stationary, waxing, cuggles, Hamleys bears, BBC3, new potatoes, JJB steam rooms etc etc.
I'm still Jonny Twostars Dani, I still laugh at things you won't think are funny, & my name can still be spelt using each of the following four letters only once, in this exact order: D A N I

And until I become Velma Kelly or legally change my name to Jonny Twostars, this is the way you will still always spell it, i.e never with two 'N's... Or else!
I still won't let you be fooled by the piercings & tattoos & mood swings & immense love for pretty boys; I still love boybands & the 90's & my grandparents & cheesy li'l cute things far too much to be trendy, especially by your standards. There'll always be this geek beneath this pencil skirt & you'll never be able to forget that
I'm still pedantic & I still moan/whinge/whine/rant/bitch/sulk like a motherbitch, & I still want a career even more than I want a cure for cellulite (i.e. a helluva lot, hideous stuff). I'm still at Huddersfield uni studying Advertising with Media & Design Management (final year, bitches!), I still have no idea what area of advertising I wish to work in but still oh so very very desperately want a career... Please? Make 2008 my year careerwise... Please? If not in avdertising, at least in burlesque. Honestly, a corset, a boa & a li'l boobie-jiggling will complete me.
What currently makes me moan like a Motherbitch:
Uni-fucking-versity (again) & the fucked up timetable they've set us for the year. Fair enough, it is our final year & we do have a lot of work to do so it could be helpful for us to have so many lectures & yadda yadda yadda, but for fucks sake, we're students, i.e. skint as fuck so at least give us time for our jobs. Cock-munchers.
