Luca Durante comincia per gioco all'eta di 18 anni ad acquistare i primi dischi techno/alternative, scoprendo solo nel 1999 il genere newstyle e decidendo di intraprendere seriamente la carriera musicale. I risultati non tardano ad arrivare e nell'estate 1999 compie il suo debutto ufficiale come dj in uno dei club più famosi d'Italia: l'ECU di Riccione. Questa sua prima performance gli permette di essere notato dallo staff Extreme, che decide di affidargli la gestione artistica della sala Newstyle e di inserirlo all'interno di eventi di grossa portata in locali come il Number One. Dal 1999 ad oggi, nonostante la scena newstyle sia praticamente morta, DJ Fons continua a suonare la sua musica, fino al momento in cui in Olanda scoppia una nuova mania: Jumpstyle. Per DJ Fons è subito amore, una musica che basa le sue fondamenta su quello che lui ha suonato per tutta la vita. Nel 2007 l'accordo con la Sonic Solution e i primi party importanti dopo anni di assenza dalle scene. Ora DJ Fons è probabilmente il DJ Jumpstyle più richiesto in Italia, apprezzato da tutti per la sua tecnica e la sua simpatia, ed è l'artista leader del nuovo progetto Jumpstyle della Sonic Solution, NuRules: Jump!
Luca Durante's passion for techno/alternative beats started when he was 18. A few years later, on 1999, he finally found the style which was fitting the best with his idea and musical taste: the fresh newstyle & hardhouse tunes. So he decided to seriously undertake the music career. His first performance gave him the chance to gain the attention of the Extreme staff. They decided to rely him on the artistic management of the newstyle area and to introduce him in big events taking place in real important clubs in Italy, as the wellknown Number One. On early 2k, even if the newstyle scene was almost dead, DJ Fons never let his passion to die too, he continued to play and promote his music, until the day in Holland a new dance genre was born: the Jumpstyle. It is love at first sight for DJ Fons, as Jumpstyle's roots are strongly based on what he's been spinnin for all his life. Finally, on 2007, the long awaited deal with Sonic Solution and the first important parties after some years of absence from the scene. Now DJ Fons is the most popular Italian Jumpstyle DJ, appreciated by everybody for his skills and happyness, and he has become the leading artist of the brand new Sonic Solution's jumpstyle project: NuRules: Jump!
