About Me

This band is called Yarn Owl. It was born in the fall of '07 at Washington State University when Tim, Tyler, Ted, and the one "T-less" member of the group, Javier, started practicing in the music department's band room. Ted plays the drums like a magical wizard of the most awesome rhythmic powers, Tim plays the bass like the noted expert Victor Wooten, Tyler plays guitar like the guy from Explosions in the Sky-but better, and Javier delivers his ever so pretty guitar plucking and smoother than honey butter vocals, in a way that melts everyones heart.
The band is currently writing and arranging the songs for their upcoming debut EP. They endorse animals, trees/nature, education, and a drug-free Olympics. Tim used to play drums in BAND OF HORSES. Javier and Ted played in the less notable, but very influential group Ether Hour, and Tyler is 100% of the super-group Augustusus.
