At 9, Javier’s father gave him a tiny little acoustic guitar. They proceeded to learn the necessary chords to play the Beatle’s, “That Boyâ€. This boy continued playing throughout elementary school and then in middle school he played in his first band “Dunceâ€. He won a talent show with his band The Adventure Club, played a high school dance, recorded some albums with cassette machines, one of which was a concept album based on the book, “The Little Prince†for a school project. In 2005 he was sent overseas to study popular music and sound technology at Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. There he played all over the historic city, it was historic. He returned to the america a year later and joined the alternative/pop band Ether Hour. Now, Javier lives in Pullman again and plays in Yarn Owl with 3 lads named Tim, Ted, and Tyler. All is well.
