Music, reading, writing, cats, fat acceptance, spirituality, vampires. I used to say paganism, however I have recently been having a change of heart about religion. Christianity and my roots are dealing with my heart right now. I'm so far from where I came from, I wonder if I can go back. And wondering too, if I want to go back. Stay tuned....
Friends who have something in common with me, be it size acceptance or vampire fiction or whatever it is that happens to link us. I will NOT respond to messages of hate. Don't waste your time and definitely don't waste mine. I am also not here to pick up or be picked up. I am very happily married to a wonderful man whom I adore. He's also very big and can be very mean when I am threatened, so keep that in mind.
Rock, country, blues, dance from the 80's and early 90's, adult contemporary--yes, typical middle age musical tastes. Some of my NEW favorite bands right now are Wicked Sins & Asphalt Valentine whom I found here on MySpace.
Old movies are the best....I am especially fond of anything with Hepburn and Tracey (personal heroes of mine.) I like the classic monster movies and anything with vampires, including the cheesy stuff. OH and anything made by or starring Kevin Smith. That man is GOD!
Watching more and more these days.....I really like CSI (the original, New York and Miami), getting into House thanks to my friend Sam.
I love the really cheesy Sci-Fi/Romance books....you know, girl meets boy, boy is actually a vampire, boy spurns girl because he can't possibly shack up with a human....yada, yada, yada. Sherrilyn Kenyon is the author that comes immediately to my mind. Also, Amanda Ashley, Christine Feehan, Susan Sizemore, Angela Knight....goodness, I could go on and on. For a bit more challenging reading, I like Ann Rice/ AN Roquelaure, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, John Grisham. I have even been known to reread the classics of my youth-Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Edgar Rice Burroughs, HP Lovecraft, Piers Anthony....I could be here all day.
