Its rare to find straight out punk bands anymore but, fear not. Five Foot Five is waving their punk banner high and cranking out the chords as loud as possible. The band is based in a small town in Texas. Their models, musically, come from bands blast through power chords like it was their last day on earth. Five Foot Five is carrying on that stripped down, raw punk energy in their work. The band wants as little interference between them and punk as possible. Its easy to let yourself get watered down but, Five Foot Five is keeping it real.
Albums and Gigs:
They are going to be entering the studio to record a follow up to their 5 song EP, Just Another Day. After that they will go on a small tour during the winter as well as play local gigs. Their energy comes through, especially in the live shows. Balancing studio recordings and playing live gigs isnt easy. Thats why theyve teamed up with A&R Select, an independent A&R firm based in Hollywood, California. A&R Select is representing the artists work for possible record deals; film, television and video game scores; and publishing deals.
