My super cool ten year old son Jakob, my super awesome boyfriend Tyler, live shows--particularly pAper chAse shows, animals, our irritating but loveable cat kitties named Syd and Barrett, music, hockey, the West Memphis 3, painting, history, classic cartoons, coffee, stupid humor that most (boys) find funny in seventh grade, learning, reading, hobbits, great conversation, writing, the seemingly lost art of poetry, philosophy, psychology, World War II, Russian history, etc. http://www.wm3.org *FREE THE WEST MEMPHIS 3*

Pink Floyd is my favorite band, Syd Barrett is my obsession. Other all time favorites are Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Gram Parsons, Muse, Secret Machines, Wilco, the pAper chAse, Lomita, What Made Milwaukee Famous, Boys Named Sue, and so on. I love melodic pop, classic country, alt-country...I like lots of music, but I just think sitting down and listing a ton of bands is a waste of time. I don't read your super long music list, you're not going to read mine either.
Top 5 All-Time Favorites: "A Clockwork Orange", "Seven Samurai", "Citizen Kane", "Lawrence of Arabia", "Vertigo". Honorable mention goes to Krzysztof Kieslowski's brilliantly beautiful "Trois Coleurs" series: "Bleu", "Blanc", and "Rouge". "Shawshank Redemption" is one I could watch OVER and OVER. "The Deer Hunter". The Godfather series, too, minus the third one. "Faraway! So Close" by Wim Wenders. "Taxi Driver", "Raging Bull", "Rosemary's Baby", Lars Von Trier's "Zentropa", Todd Solondz films, Wes Anderson films, Ingmar Bergman, the breathtaking "Russian Ark" by Aleksandr Sokurov, "Casablanca", "Il Postino", "Dr. Zhivago" (and really anything by the filmmakers of the first 5 I mentioned). And *HOW* could I forget "Wizard of Oz"???
"Law and Order" (all of them), "Grounded For Life", "Big Love", "Meerkat Manor", "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart", "Flight of the Conchords", "Deadwood", "X-Files"...and I love true crime dramas and stuff, like "First 48".
"On the Road" by Jack Kerouac.
