Formed in late 2005, the ground work for BAAE was set down by Frank Avila and Joey Lapointe, who decided that a musical project was in order. After a brief period searching for the right people to join in the project, brothers Andrew and Dave Hayward were invited to embark on this adventure, and the addition helped actualize the creative efforts of the two other members. Upon deciding on a name and direction, the band went into studio to record their first few songs. With a strong rhythm section as the backbone, the BAAE sound packs a solid punch.
Since January 2006, when they broke the ice with a battle of the bands win, Before and After Everything have been taking music fans by surprise across Montreal and its surrounding areas. The band is growing in strength, unity and creativity. A great up-and-coming act, make sure to check them out.
