The projects is where I'm from, Stateway Gardens and Robert Taylor that is...Yeah I used to flip off mattresses and play in the fire lanes. Erk n Jerk and Breakdance by the elevators. I used to beat buckets and rhyme, it's funny how young I was and how time has passed by. The projects is where I found my soulmate(music). It started with two Technics turntables and a Realistic mixer with the red reset button. On my cousin's door read MEMBERS ONLY!. The door we stayed behind mixing and scratching what we knew as The SugarHill Gang title White Lines 12" vinyl. Yeah, I wa cold doing my thing for the local parties we called "sets". Music is still my soulmate. Now we have what we call sessions. My fellow dj friends meet up and we hold music sessions. BYOB(bring your own record bag). My goal is to be the best and live to see half if not all of the world and what life has to offer. "Cause music is my life, gotta keep on dancing".
