Ansel Adams...................................Me I am all about things that have been forgotten by the fast lane of modern society.Cameras that take film are at the top of my list.I broke down and bought an early digital camera right when the trend for producing higher pixel count cameras was taking off. I hated the camera and have since lost it(likely on purpose). I like the idea of framing a shot in my mind before I take it. I'll sometimes go to a car show or be walking in a park or off the beaten path and see something that strikes me. I'll take a couple shots at different angles and leave it at that. I have the patience to wait for the film to come out and see what I have made. Sometimes its an image of something nobody walking the show or the path with me saw. It surprises me when friends say they didn't see something and I did. I don't wear a watch because time is a leash to which some people are unable to release themselves from. I despise the current production of automobiles(well basically anything made since the muscle car era). Their design is mostly horrendous,functionality and convenience have replaced art and creativity. Much like the women today the curves are no longer appreciated. The mainstream wants you to think that the anorexic stick figures weighing less than 120 are perfect. Excuse me! Women are suppose to be shapely and have curves. Not look anemic and flat lacking anything but a store bought pair of bolt on breasticles. Cars are suppose to be driven and be enjoyed not be mobile offices. To be continued......
