I was born with club feet, where both my front muscles overpowered my back muscles, making both feet go up to my leg; it took 8 corrective surgeries in order for me to walk. I had to wear a hip brace & full-length casts on both feet; I also had to wear metal leg braces, till I could walk without them. I then had severe asthma attacks in the 5th grade; my dr advised us to move to a dryer climate, so I could breathe. My last surgeries, was in 1981 & I was told that would be my last that I could have; it's also probably because my body won't take it anymore.
