I can't remember how our family became Wolverine fans. Maybe the uniform our catholic middle school forced us to wear had some influence, it was Navy and white (so easy to throw some yellow in there). My brother talked about going to Michigan since he was in grade school. He graduated from there with an aerospace engineering degree in 1990. Instead of going into the sky, he went underwater. Nuclear Engineering for the Navy -his current assignment is a 2 year stint at the Pentagon. I'm proud of him. He's a good (family) man. Anyway, I take my Michigan football personally. Sometimes it's hard for me to watch if I think that "things" are taking a turn for the worst. I "grieve" when they lose, so yeah, I guess I DO BLEED BLUE. They get complacent sometimes -
when they're ahead. Then, "things" "get by" them. It would be great if they won the National Championship this year. The last time they won was in 1998 with Brian Griese, I wasn't there, but I heard they trashed Ann Arbor. Anyway, let's see what happens. I don't think State is going to be a problem, they're probably demoralized by being beaten by Illinois on their homecoming day!! (and by Notre Dame 2 weeks ago) owieee!! But who knows! weirder things have happened. Ohio State is a good team, they're our last game of the season.
