Influences: this is tough and many people confuse who influenced them with who they listen to,,,,,my biggest influences would have 2 B, "the artist forever known as a pimp"(prince) and a lady out of seattle by the name of pat wright, marvin, donnie and terrence trent and more recently bilal.( wouldnt u love 2 hear B and prince get together?) then there are artist whom i respect and admire and try my best 2 steal some of their best licks (some more successfully than others) and the ones i listen 2. if they can B considered infulences, i dont know. listen 2 my voice and decide 4 yourself.im a soul singer, so many of the usual suspects; prince, marvin, donnie and his lovely daughter lalah, uncle charley, james ingram,dà ngelo, angie stone, india, stevie, paul carrack, george clinton, jesse johnson, michael j., michael mcdonald, al green, celo green, oleta adams, james brown, bill withers,rachelle ferrell, brand new heavies, john lee hooker and many more,,, i grew up singing gospel so i would be remiss if i didnt mention, vannessa bell armstrong, the clark sisters, the entire winans family, commissioned, smokey norful, the mighty clouds of joy, the 5 blind boys from, fred hammond, on and on,,, there was a time in seattle when there was no r&b on the radio and i was bussed 2 the "other side of town" so i have 2 mention, the police, steve perry, queen, van halen, james taylor, toto, eric clapton, basia, michael franks, go west,the dixie chix, stevie ray vaughn, zztop, on and on and on jazz to country to hip hop to soul, to big band. so many more!!!
