I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Okay, I've finally broken down and now have a self-serving bit here to initiate those who don't know about me (which would be 99.999% of Planet Earth): I have played rhythm guitar with the band The Cult since 1993 (except for one tour in '95) whom I met while opening for them in 1989 when I played guitar with Steve Jones (of Sex Pistols and later Jonesy's Jukebox infamy). Played in the SoCal punk band Channel 3 starting in '86 (those guys took me on tour at age 18 and made me realize that I just *had* to do music as a career) and made a record in '95 with my band Suckerpunch (good band, great songs, bad luck). I am also a bit obsessed with cycling which all started with running: I've run loads of marathons and ultramarathons (most proud of finishing the Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run in '01 and doing the Comrades (ultra)Marathon in '03. Got injured along the way and went full gas with cycling... Currently playing with The Cult (new album "Born Into This" is out and about so get it), bumping along around the planet, riding bikes, crashing them and generally enjoying a very interesting life!
