Charles Brown (23) has always been gifted in the area of music. From vocals to instruments to composition, it was obvious to many that, at an early age, he had an anointing on his life. As any, this life was filled with tests and trials. His travels as a military brat allowed him to experience and witness many things. He learned at an early age to accept each event as a lesson to learn from, and to vent his frustration or state his opinionhe wrote. Writing became a craft to him, which, along with music, could be used to portray these same life situations to others in hope that they may get revelation into their own situation and triumph over it.
At the age of 16, Charles decided to give his life WHOLEHEARTEDLY to Jesus Christ and devoted himself to being a living example. Already heavily enthralled in music, Hip Hop in particular (he began to rap at the age of 9, and has evolved into a wordsmith), he figured what better median to reach todays generation than through Rap Music"
The choosing of the name Mercy can be best explained in biblical verse (this verse also describes his style of ministry):
Jude 1:23
snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show MERCY, mixed with fearhating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
"Mercy is symbolic of the path Charles has taken in his walk with Christ.

But for that very reason I was shown MERCY so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life.
Mercy has a unique method of writing; he plays to his strengths and weaknesses alike in effort to show flaws and victory simultaneously. His style is one to which theres no category. A gifted narrator and poet, he can give account to an event in such a way that you cant help but to acknowledge the truth in it. Thematic in approach consistent in substance compassionate in character. His versatility is evident. His devotion to truth is prevalent.
All he asks as an artist and producer is your support.
All he asks as a person is your respect.
All he asks as a minister of Gods truth is your attention.
