hanging out, watching people go by, (pop)-artbooks, travelling, dj'ing, writing columns and reviews, doing interviews, trying not to lose my head, Metropolitan areas, staying up all night, sleeping in, lo-fi, indie, electro, eclectic, subbacultcha, vodka orange, fascinated by: strangely enough, the richness of the arab world contrasted with the emptiness of the western world, post-post-modernism, creating different versions of the truth, intenseness

Check the About Me for Kill All Hipsters music-policy. Apart from that:I've been buying and receiving records since I was 16 years old. Therefore it's hard to sum up my favorites in a single paragraph. I guess in music, as in art, books, life, I like slightly deranged, fucked up things. It's gotta have a good melody and some catchiness though. I prefer 2 minute songs above 12 minute ones, lo-fi indie electronica above minimalistic, housey stuff and somehow I always end up visiting psychedelic shows although I don't like what psychedelic sounds do to my head. Being vague by nature, I prefer to stay sharp as possible. I've got thousands of cd's and records stacked up in the house, but plan to categorize and throw away the ones I haven't listened to for more than two years. Scratch that, the ones I don't think I'll ever listen to again.
Taxi Driver, Natural Born Killers, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Broken Flowers, Scarface, Festen, Fucking Amal, Night on Earth, Photographic Mammaries, Lost in Translation
I'm hardly ever home and prefer to eat out, catch a movie, concert or go clubbing, but I guess Seinfeld always brings a smile to my face.
