Recently, I've been getting back into a fusion type of sound. Rock Instruments played in a completely improvised manner. It's one of the best sounds because its momentum is solely based on the performer. An instance where the band personnel is primary to its music. Strange if you think about it. In other forms of music, the "song form" takes precedence over its members. Not neccessarily deeming that inferior, just less risky. Improvised music is a balancing act; succesful or not, its still a thrill to watch.
