Somewhere in the middle of where I want and need to be

About Me

This is a quiz about PULP FICTIONI love movies. Sometimes I believe that my life is actually a movie, Truman-show style. In my head, I hear my soundtrack, each emotion and situation a different song playing. I am a boring person. Which is why i'm so in to movies. I live vicariously through other people's experiences, through characters in a movie.
If you need to know some random fact, I'm your man! I know way too much useless knowledge and am all too eager to share it. Just ask anyone who's eaten dinner with me in the past 9 months. haha.
I'm slowly discovering that I know less about myself than I once thought. I've had some interesting experiences in the past two years, all of which has changed my perspective about who I am, who I am becoming, and who i've been. The last time I was in San Diego, I met the friendliest ATM machine in the world. It called me by name, asked me about my day, and thanked me for handling my business with it. It was almost like the ATM machine in the short-lived but great tv series "Eerie Indiana." I love that show. While doing my training at the Greentree Mall PacSun, I met Bruce Wayne (aka Batman). He bought a tshirt, and paid me with his credit card, and so I asked for an ID. Sure enough, it said Bruce Wayne.A fellow came by the store and bought some items. When he pulled out his credit card, I was amazed to be in the presence of a music legend, Bocephus. Ok, so his name was Bo Cephus....something or other, but it's close enough to add to my list of Pseudo Celebrities that I've met. For you kiddies out there who don't know, Bocephus is an alias of Hank Williams, Jr.
A lovely lady came in to the store to purchase a few lynyrd skynrd tshirts and she paid me with a credit card. The name on the card.....Emily Rose. Well, Rose was her middle name, or possibly her maiden name. Either way, it was Emily Rose. I wanted to ask about her exorcism, but I figured she had probably been asked that a million times already.I've seen a lot of people who look like celebrities from my years in the mall. There is this one fellow who looks like the aliens do when wearing the special sunglasses in the movie "They Live". Scary indeed.People say I'm weird, and I'd have to agree with them. I'm picky about food and even more picky about the women I date.I found a shirt in my closet that i've had since I was in elementary school and it's both sad and joyous that I can now fit in to it again. But hey, I earned my perfect attendance shirt. The smell of salad dressing makes me ill. I ate cheesecake for the first time this year, and didn't eat pie for the first time until this past year.
Agnosticism is the view that knowledge of whether or not God exists is unattainable, that we cannot be justified in believing either that God does exist or that he does not. There are two approaches to arguing for this view: first, it can be argued that knowledge of God's existence is unattainable because no evidence could ever justify religious belief, and second, it can be argued that knowledge of God's existence is unattainable because evidence of God's existence is unattainable. Many describe themselves as agnostics because they believe that certain knowledge is impossible in religious matters. Whatever evidence there might be for or against the existence of God, both God's existence and God's non-existence remain conceivable. If we form a belief on uncertain evidence then we might turn out to be wrong. It is therefore better for us to withhold our judgement, to remain agnostic. The more important it is to be right about a matter, the more cautious we should be in forming our beliefs. If a matter is of great importance, as religion is, then our evidential standards concerning it should be set high, we should demand strong evidence before settling on what we believe. In fact, religion is of unquantifiable importance -- there is nothing more important than being right about the question of God's existence--and we should therefore set our evidential standards infinitely high. If this is correct, then the standard of evidence required for justified religious belief is so high that it can never be satisfied; we can never have enough evidence to form beliefs about such questions as whether God exists.
