About Me

I'm Jodi and this is my Official MySpace page. Accept no impostor's, but pity them for their lack of character and probable inability to sustain positive relationships. Impostor, How about you worry about your own life, it clearly needs your attention. . . . . . .Anyway, after moving from Pittsburgh to live in Philadelphia for six months, I'm now living in Atlanta GA. Once the fall semester starts I'll be working with my husband doing food service at a college here. He's my boss and that's kinda hot. I enjoy the job but somedays it can be intense working on that scale. Anyway, I'm not working this summer so I'm right now enjoying the free time to center myself again. I'm reading like a mo/fo and working on getting a tan. I'm just really happy right now :) . . . . . . . .I spend a lot of time at home. I'm a loner that way. I have a lot of wifely chores to do plus I'm a little o.c.d. so I clean a lot. I keep a very tidy home. I also read a lot and prefer to stay at home for that. (You're not going to find me in some pretentious coffee shop with my poser coffee drink reading Sartre hoping to be notices and thought cool.) . . . . . . . . . .I just discovered the beach and plan to spend a lot of time there this summer. I enjoy camping and should be going again in a couple of months. I walk a lot here when weather permits.. . . . .. . .Basically I'm just me, doing my thing here, building a marriage with my husband. Reading books that teach me something useful or are just awesome. Enjoying my two sweet cats. Singing out loud and dancing along. Thinking about the world and how it works. Sometimes I'm funny, loving, happy and cute and sometimes I'm the sad onslaught of wrath from the damaged depths of the soul. I'm just me trying to figure out who that is. I'm trying to look at everything again, to see what really happened and let that change how I feel. I'm growing up and living my life and if you'd like more details, read my other provided information, become my friend and read my blogs and ask me questions. My Interests

I'm really interested in whole lot of things, only a few are: religion, mythology, philosophy, culture,lifestyles, actions, mindfulness, love, history, the cosmos, the mind, the body, the soul, the connections between it all, causality, gems, health, nature, motivation, family, politics, interaction, animals, art, sex, communication,good conversations, music, writing, point of view, friends, relationships, ancient culture, metaphysics, the environment, space, quantum theory, music, movies, travel,and peace... you know, all of life.

I'd like to meet:

Some people like, my great grand parents, Thich Nhat Hanh, Alex Grey, the members of the band Tool. Though I'm sure if I were to actually meet these people, the circumstances under which it would happen would make the experience unfulfilling to the ideal. Who I'd actually like to come across are everyday people who are honest and can carry on a real, meaningful conversation. People interested in life and study it. People who care about others, not people who use others. You know, friends.And, of course, Trey Gunn, playing the Warr guitar in this clip:

Music:

I'm currently obsessed with the above music player! I'm always adding new stuff. It's fun to find new music and old music and get up and play the air guitar and rock out. I like music.

Movies:

I subscribe to one of those mail-in movie rental companies so I watch a wide range of things. I really like informational shows and movies with big ideas or big special effects or both.

Television:

I like to watch TV. I watch FX, The National geographic Channel, Discovery and the IFC alot. Also I love to watch Nova, Family Guy, Top Chef, Project Runway, Heroes, LOST, House, Shock Wave, Mythbusters, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Oprah, The Office, well, anything else that makes me laugh or catches my interest.

Books:

I really love to read. I like scifi and fantasy the most. Especially books in series because I think it's great to keep the story going to get to see how the characters develop into more complex entities. So much like ourselves. I have most of the books buy Sharron Shin, Orson Scott Card, David Eddings, Carole Burg, Isaac Asimov a couple others but I read so so many more books when I was younger but I didn't keep them and now I don't remember them. That's a pity. I also read books about religions, science, nature, history, art, philosophy, mythology, mysticism, sociology etc. I like I said, I really like to read. I like finding out about stuff. It really boosts the dopamine.

Heroes:

Daniel, Tank Man, Lenny Skutnik, Bean, Trey Gunn, Mugen, Sayonne and tow truck drivers among everyone...who every-now-and-then have a moment of true heroism.
