Scott Elliott is a new Composer in his third year at CSU Stanislaus. Five years ago he recorded a piece for wind ensemble that was entered in the H. Robert Reynolds Composers Competition in New York. He has recently finished a large scale choral piece and other minor works. His big piece last spring, entitled Tone Works, featured violin and piano, while incorporating a live painting artist on stage. The work was premiered at the 21st annual Student Composition Festival at CSU Stanislaus. He is currently working on a three new pieces.
