I'd like to meet:

Someone who likes to read and hike at the same time.

Music:

Your music.

I play my newest favorite MySpace artist here.

Movies:

I love movies but would rather watch a campfire and a sunrise.

Television:

Evening news, Animal Planet, and college football! I reckon that TV is a continuation of the Great Conversation, while the internet is the Deep Conversation. Both enhance life while polluting life.

Books:

Personal experience is the most direct way to the truth about things. Books open up the experiences of others for each of us! So book study is useful for the connection and deepening of experiences.

Our words are an extension of our minds. Every word is powerful. Reading requires extra time for thinking. So reflection is the other half of study.

Currently reading:

THE FUTURE OF LIFE (Edward O. Wilson)

It's difficult to choose which books to read within a lifetime. Please let me know which ones you recommend.

Heroes:

Well, everyone and every being, every whole of every part, and every part of every whole. If i had to be picky, i'd say Mom and Dad,

Sarah and Chris,

grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles,

ancestors,

The Bach family, Ludwig van Beethoven, Hector Berlioz, Sitting Bull, Alexander Scriabin, Martin Luther King Jr., Frank Zappa, Salvador Dalí, Carl Sagan, Mark Kistler, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Vine Deloria Jr., Winona LaDuke, Danny Carey, the Thanksgiving turkey, Michelle Polk, Beth Ratay, Dane Dobrinska, Reinaldo Moya, and you.
