He’s born in Santa Fe, though he lives in Capital Federal since 1997.He’s been related to music since the age of six, when the process of learning started as a precious play… At that time he played that game with a violin as an interpreter and instrumentalist in the “Orquesta Sinfonica de Niñosâ€, of his natal city.Then, for a considerable period of time, played bass for many alternative and grunge rock bands such as Destroyer, Beer and Samshara, today all of them being classic icons from the 80..s and 90..s. During these experiences, the process of composition was done by all the group members. It is important then to pay special attention to the process of ‘group composition’, done in a ritualistic way. The interaction with others ways of expressions, such as dance and visual arts, enriched his person and musical style. He also took part in santafesinean rock movements, doing some production tasks and conducting different radio programs.Once in Buenos Aires, feels no satisfied not only playing for local bands as a bass player, but also in editing a cd with his last band “Samsharaâ€. However, he finds a way of expression through the stick, a “self sufficient†instrument, which generates harmonic melodic lines, high capacity in its quality of percussive instrument and the most notorious thing, having a great sonorous flexibility. He plays it within clear and soft lays of transparencies. Combining and treating sounds with conventional sound effects and also intervening the instrument with different objects of various materials which give birth to pure and neat industrial sounds.In the seek of his own language and personal development, goes through different experiences when meeting personalities such as Daniel Melero, Gyula Kosiche, Gabriel Senanes, Ricky Saenz Paz and his friend and composer Flavio Rivero from Santa Fe. He works focused on the validation and at the same time, the rupture of the classic rules of rhythm and harmonic compositions, not just for a philosophic thought or even for a matter of tendency, but for the creative freedom in finding new living sounds, and giving himself the chance of coming across by them.Basically playing with a Chapman stick plus a domestic pc, he procures himself lots of heterogenic sounds that turn into true sonorous entities, free of any particular style… covering and uncovering, at the same time, resources and instruments played. Sounds to be perceived without any prejudgement, naked and vulnerable, open and empty, finding out not only one, but thousand of senses. Vivid sensations can be found while resonance rises; only responding to the need to exist by itself, no matter which instruments have been used.Such proposal represents a challenge in a change of attitude to that one that has the opportunity to expose himself, recalling and revalidating then, his attitude towards the risk and effort that implies the fact of facing oneself in the mirror, regards the pressure of the external human manipulation. After all, we are all attracted by the idea of living ‘that’ special something even in our ordinary current life, although we are permanently tempted not to do so.He knows and plays with no fear in the plain conviction that if we change the way of perceiving sounds and no matter how, we still enjoy listening to sonorous entities, other things might change…Society already remind us where we come from and our tastes should be…I think it’s time to validate the roots of our emotional freedom, in the seek of the music about to come, the one that has never been played, copied and distributed.
