I enjoy walking, writing, reading, dancing[ballroom and country line] going out to lunch at one of my favorite restaurants,taking day trips by bus, flying out of state, occasionally, typing on the computer, and occasionally going out with one of my friends for a meal, movie, and maybe sometime dancing, in the near future.
Eventually, I would love to meet someday, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Luan Parle, Juice Newton, and Katie Austin. These four women are amazingly talented as vocal artists. Luan, Rebecca and Juice, are also absolutely fantastic musicians, as well, playing the guitar, Rebecca and Katie,Luan, and Juice are also amazing, and brilliant song-writers, as well. I enjoy playing guitar, when I can find the time, but I guess you could say, I am a beginner at it, once again. I love nearly all types of music, with a few exceptions. My favorite Country artist is Collin Raye[I have been a member of his fan club for 7 years now]. My favorite songs that Collin sings are""Time Machine", "In This Life", "Little Rock", "That was a River", "I think about You", " It Could Happen Again", and most recently "Quitters","A Soldier's Prayer", and "The Power in You".My favorite R&B male vocalist of all-time, is and always will be, Luther Vandross. My favorite radio station is CAT COUNTRY 98.1, WCTK. My favorite dj is CAT COUNTRY'S Adam Scott. My favorite musical duo of all- time is the "Carpenters". My favorite female vocal artist of all-time, is and always will be Karen Carpenter.
My favorite movies, are primarily older movies:"Casablanca", "The Wizard of Oz", "Roman Holiday", "Sabrina", "ET","Home Alone", and for the more recent movies, I enjoy "Forrest Gump", "When Harry Met Sally", "Sleepless in Seattle", "Shall We Dance", "Take the Lead", and "Step up".
I really prefer the older shows, as opposed to todays' offerings. Some of the shows from the past that I enjoy are: "Dick Van Dyke", "Mary Tyler Moore", the"Honeymooners" and "I Love Lucy".," and Johnny Carson. Today I love the "Reba" show, "Everybody Loves Raymond", "Frasier", and "Trick my Truck".
I like to read primarily romance novels, Danielle Steele, Rosamunde Pilcher, and also the Mitford series about Father Tim[novels], short stories,poetry[especially Robert Frost],and for years, I have been reading "Reader's Digest"[ I especiallly love "enrich your word power], which I have been enjoying since the late 60's.
