For What It's Worth...

About Me

It’s been a long time in the making. Quarry was informally formed in 1999 when Jesse and Chad started writing together…soon there was a five-piece band playing parties, and eventually venues. Along the way we’ve lost some brothers, and we’ve brought others into the family. Today’s line-up consists of Jesse, Chad, Kyle, Matty, and Stevens. This band really is, and always has been more of a family than a business…and the five of us are dedicated as much to each other as we are to the music and the fans.
The musical, and non-musical backgrounds are massively different for each member, making the collaborative writing process one that pulls from many different kinds of experience. In the music you will hear personal tributes to past legends of music, as well as current sounds that inspire. In Quarry you will find something underneath the surface in every song virtually every time you listen. Finally, it is our main objective to entertain you, and give you something to call your own in our music. Take from it what you will, it’s all up for interpretation…hopefully you don’t think of it as our music, you’ll think of it as yours.
Quarry is working every day at becoming a stronger band, focusing on our sound, our live show, and our connection to you. We are writing new music as you read this, building up material for the next album. In the meantime we hope you are enjoying the current album “For What it’s Worth”, and we can’t wait to see you at the next show. Our main audience has always been Baltimore (and we love you B-MORE), but we are growing our boundaries to include PA, VA, DE, and NJ. Shortly, we’ll tour the east coast and more, so we’ll see all of you soon enough. Enjoy!
