Sounds Like: "Local metallers Lucid are good, no, scrub that, they're VERY good. Striding onto the stage, they're as tight as fuck as they spend thirty minutes stomping through a modern-thrash feast. Looking confident, they bristle with energy and pound their loyal following into submission as this long evening starts to draw to a close. A very impressive band who, like the previous two bands, you can expect to see more of on Planet Loud over the coming months."

"Lucid make a storming start to the evening as some good hard metal is thrust out at us - rapid fire kik drum heads the assault and the two guitars grind away fiercely. Vocals rant angrily, sometimes heading towards emo rather than hardcore. At their riffiest there's an exciting early Metallica vibe, while at other times the band can take on quite a dark, brooding mood with introverted, tense jangles and twists. You can always sense they are about to come storming back though - even if it takes a while - and this light and shade characterises the bands sound. A ripping yarn of an assault!"

"...local boys Lucid plough through their catchy metal. Despite only catching the last five or so minutes of their set it was obvious that, since the last time Planet Loud caught up with these local kids, they haven’t been wasting their time."
