I am Jagermeister, I am a alcoholic liqueur that was first made in 1935 in Wolfenbuttel, Germany. The name Jagermeister means "a master-hunter." That is why Saint Ubert, protector of hunters, is the deer symbol on the label. I am a mixture of 56 plants, roots, and fruit peels, that is matured for 12 months. I am best served ice cold and straght up, but am often served in a variety of mixed drinks or shots. One that tends to be a favorite of many is the Jager Bomb ( Red Bull and Jager).
