Yeah... Now, you're playing for team Von Waldenberg!

About Me

Josh --
[noun]:
A human transformer (Robot in disguise)
'How will you be defined in the dictionary?' at QuizGalaxy.comKonichiwa and such! So, I guess this is the part where I'm suppose to sum myself up in this neat little package to the best of my ability for your personal enjoyment, right? K, well, here goes... I'm Josh! I play drums. I play in a band. The band is called "Another Big Machine". We ROCK! We're currently hyping our soon-to-be released debut album. We're excited. You should be, too. Buy it! For further info(on the band), just scroll down to check us out. Now, more about "Me", as I do cherish my "Me" time thoroughly as anyone should... If not, you're unselfish and ignorant. Moving on... I was born and raised in south Louisiana, which has been fun and at times "interesting" to say the least! Basically, your typical small town and everything that usually comes along with it, and then some, and then some more. However, growing up, I wasn't exactly your average, stereotypical "small town kid". I've been hardcore into music from the time I was barely even walking. Before long, I was 16 and already playing the local club scene... Good times, indeed!!! I was brought up on a seemingly endless list of musical influences... You name it, I listened to it! Everything from Stevie Wonder to Zeppelin to The Misfits to Tears For Fears to Iron Maiden and all points and curves in between! Not to mention, the occasional "Yacht Rock" artist we've all come to know and love, but, just didn't want to admit to publicly(Don't lie! You know you LOVED Peter Cetera!!). Over the years, I went on to work with numerous musical projects, both locally and nationally, learning the craft of the continuously evolving artform known as music, and the industry overall. However, I must say it's been quite an experience and I look forward to many, many, many more! Anywho, if any of the following information has struck your interest and you have any questions, wonders, what if's, why's, how's, etc... Just ask! In the meantime, I'll be sure to enlighten you on any other major breakthroughs and/or overall further events of high interest that grace my being... Hope this all sunk in gradually. CHEERS!!!
Debut album coming in January 2008
on Rising Storm/Universal Records... Check us out!!!

I'd like to meet:

Well, I'd love to clone Scarlett Johansson, Brittany Daniel, Audrey Kitching, and Dita Von Teese. Then, breed all 4 of them together, thus, creating one huge concoction of absolute HOTTNESS!!! And then, I would introduce myself. Also, an old British guy named Guisseppi who wears a white powdered wig with breeches, stockings, and buckle shoes who I can make my butler to keep in my basement, feed crackers to, and play Yahtzee with!! Oh, and whoever invented Play-Doh!!!! That's about it off the top of my head... ..

The list is endless, but, here's a few "all-time" fav's... Spinal Tap, Wet Hot American Summer, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Rock Star, Friday, Almost Famous, Princess Bride, Back To School, Urban Cowboy(You know you loved it!), Run Ronnie Run, Raising Arizona... Anything with Vince Vaughn, Jim Carrey, or Will Ferrell, anything directed by Kevin Smith... .. .. ..

Television:

Actual "tv"? Hardly ever... I don't really have the time or the attention span to keep up with what's on these days... But, when I do, it's usually Comedy Central, Wrestling, Adult Swim, or 80's/90's sitcom re-runs... Other than that, just DVD's.

Haven't written any as of yet... But, I'll keep you posted!

Heroes:

My mom, my grandparents, Keith Moon, John Bonham, Alex Van Halen, Taylor Hawkins, Hugh Hefner, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Salvadore Vasquez(my drunken alter-ego!), Uncle Moosie(I don't have one. But, YOU might, so here's to him!), Bea Arthur, the dude who played "Boner" on Growing Pains... Oh, and Wok Tow Fon(chef at a local sushi joint!)... That's about it, so far.
