About Me

If you've made it this far, thank you for stopping by! My name is Kent Beatty, I've been playing music since I was 6 and I have lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for most of my life. I've played bass in various projects and I also write and perform solo bass music. My band is called reVibe - make sure to stop by our page in my "top friends" - and lately, I've had the pleasure of playing with the Hamilton Loomis Band.
I believe music is one of the greatest gifts people are capable of. I also want to say how much love I have for my family and friends. Without them, I would have nothing.
This page is for my solo bass material and other various music that I have been a part of. Currently, the only CD that I have available is from reVibe and it is a 5-song demo, mostly the same as what is on myspace. If you would like a reVibe CD, please send a message to the reVibe myspace. I am in the process of writing a solo bass album and it will be sold online when it is finished.
